The beautiful and kindhearted princess Snow White charms every creature in the kingdom except one – her jealous stepmother, the Queen. When the Magic Mirror proclaims Snow White the fairest one of all, she must flee into the forest, where she befriends the lovable seven dwarfs – Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, and Dopey. But when the Queen tricks Snow White with a poisoned apple and falls into a deep sleep, only the magic of true love’s kiss can awaken her.

At a recording session, Lucille La Verne, the voice of the Wicked Queen, was told by Walt Disney‘s animators that they needed an older, raspier version of the Queen’s voice for the Old Witch. La Verne stepped out of the recording booth, returned a few minutes later, and gave a perfect “Old Hag’s voice” that stunned the animators. When asked how she did it, she replied, “Oh, I just took my teeth out.”
